Job summary

Calibrate People is seeking a Data Scientist to transform data into strategic business actions. You will wrangle data, build advanced models across traditional ML and generative AI, and translate insights into decisions that move the business forward.

Collaborating with business and technical teams, you’ll communicate findings to stakeholders and drive production-ready solutions from concept to deployment. A postgraduate preference and strong analytics background are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelors degree, with strong preference for a post graduate qualification.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning.
  • Relevant software and programming skills with tools such as SQL, SAS, Python and data visualisation tools.
  • Strong grasp of statistics, AI, and predictive modelling.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, LangChain).
  • Hands-on Data Engineering & MLOps experience-Moving models from concept to production
  • Certifications in machine learning, AI, or cloud-based analytics bonus points!
  • A strategic thinker who knows when to follow the rules and when to rewrite them.
  • The ability to speak both business and tech fluently.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills aka, you can talk process without putting people to sleep
