Job summary

OUTsurance is seeking a highly analytical Data Analytics professional to join our dynamic team in Centurion. You will partner with Operational Management and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and support strategic projects that improve performance and profitability.

You will build analytics solutions, develop reports and models, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that impact staff, clients and the broader business.

Qualifications

• Actuarial science, data science or mathematical statistics degree.
• Completion of CT Series of actuarial board exams (advantageous).
• 2+ years of data analytics work experience (advantageous).
• Strong SQL and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive data-driven decision-making with stakeholders to support strategic projects.
• Develop analytics reports, cubes, models and dashboards to improve operational performance.
• Translate analytical results into actionable recommendations for decision makers.
• Build and maintain predictive models to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with IT, Digital, Actuarial, and Operations to deliver key results.
