Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Data Modeler / Data Intelligence Manager to ensure the proper functioning of our Erwin suite (DM and DI) for data modeling and metadata management. You will manage access, performance, and storage, ensuring health and alignment with architectural standards, and coordinate with data modelers and architects to curate knowledge assets.

The role reports to the Architecture Practice Manager and collaborates with the Data Domain Architect.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
• Honours degree focusing on Information Management or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience administering data modelling and metadata management tools and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise modeling and metadata management with Erwin DM/DI.
• Ensure usability and value of metadata and models.
• Support Data Architecture at enterprise level.
• Maintain system health, performance, access, and storage NFRs.
• Configure and manage the Erwin landscape for multi-user environments.
• Publish DDLs to development environments; enable data glossary maintenance.
• Governance to ensure security and architectural control in Erwin suite.
• Extract metadata from multiple sources and manage model structures.
• Publish models and ensure stakeholder access.
