Job summary

Prescient is seeking an entry-level Data Management professional to support the setup, maintenance and valuation of financial instruments for our Ireland teams; workdays follow the Ireland calendar.

You will collaborate with global colleagues to manage data across systems, use ETL workflows to deliver solutions, and help enforce data governance and instrument metadata policies.

This role offers exposure to financial data ecosystems, with opportunities to grow within the data management function.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in IS/Tech, Finance, or Commerce.
• Entry level position; no experience required, but exposure to asset valuations & setups is advantageous.

Purpose of role

The Data Management team plays a critical role relating to the setup, maintenance and valuation of financial instruments traded and held by Prescient clients. In this role, you will be required to work with your team to setup, maintain and value these instruments, and support downstream teams.

This role specifically supports our Ireland teams and therefore workdays follow the Ireland calendar. Day-to-Day support is primarily focused on the Ireland teams, with other support as allows.

Duties and responsibilities

• Engage directly with our Ireland teams to ensure timeous support.
• Work Ireland calendar days.
• Managing and maintaining financial market and instrument data across Prescient systems.
• Utilize ETL technologies and workflows to deliver solutions daily, monthly and on an ad hoc basis.
• Operating instrument valuation models for pricing OTC instruments.
