What You'll Do:
- Define and own the test strategy across SIT, data validation, regression, and UAT for data and BI solutions.
- Design and execute data reconciliation, validation, and quality checks, ensuring source-to-target integrity and adherence to business rules.
- Build repeatable test frameworks and implement automated data quality checks where feasible.
- Manage defect logging, triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution processes.
- Lead and mentor a team of testers and QA analysts, coordinating testing resources and priorities.
- Plan and coordinate UAT activities with business users and SMEs, including scope, scenarios, execution tracking, and sign-off.
- Manage testing risks, dependencies, and readiness for go-live.
- Engage stakeholders professionally, maintaining clear communication on testing progress and quality status.
- Develop strong business acumen and credibility, contributing to overall project success.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Lead testing efforts for data reconciliation, transformation, and validation.
- Oversee defect management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of experience in data and QA testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or coordination role.
- Advanced SQL skills (mandatory) and ETL/ELT testing experience.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts such as Kimball and Data Vault.
- Strong planning, data analysis, and business acumen skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
