Placements24 seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for a hybrid role based in Nelspruit. You will design M&E frameworks, analyze data, and report findings to inform program decisions and improve service delivery in Mpumalanga.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree and at least 5 years in M&E within the non-profit sector, with skills in SPSS, R, and data visualization. You will support field visits and collaborate with teams across sites.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Proficiency in SPSS, R and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks and tools for various programs.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to assess program performance and impact.
• Develop M&E reports, presenting findings and recommendations to program staff, management, and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the M&E process.
• Provide training and technical support to program staff on M&E methodologies and tools.
