Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join its data analytics team in Nelspruit. You will transform raw data into actionable business insights by developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data models to support decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of BI experience, strong SQL skills, and proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense. You will collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to accurate, accessible data insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for ETL processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into BI specs.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across BI deliverables.
• Create and manage data models that support reporting and analytics.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.
