Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Developer to join our analytics team in Randburg. The role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights, designing and maintaining BI solutions, dashboards, and data warehouses in an office-based setting.

You will work with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop ETL processes, optimize SQL queries, and train end-users on BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• 3+ years in BI development or data analysis.
• Strong SQL and relational DB knowledge.
• Hands-on with BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau/QlikView and ETL/data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement BI solutions including dashboards and reports.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data warehouses/data marts.
• Create and optimize SQL queries for analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into specs.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across BI platforms.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools.
