Our client, a public tertiary education institution, is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Integrated Data Analytics (IDA) team. The role places analysts inside business environments to deliver analytics that support strategic, tactical and operational decisions across the organisation.

You will analyze data, build dashboards with SQL and Power BI, communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders, and contribute to cross-environment analyses while upholding IDA standards.

Competenze

• Honours degree or postgraduate diploma (NQF 8) with at least three years' relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma (NQF 7) with at least five years' relevant experience.
• Diploma (NQF 6) with at least eight years' relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Power BI, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to translate data into insight for non-technical audiences.
• The ability to effectively manage time, resources and skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• The ability to assess information, consider implications and make timely decisions.
• The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues and teams.
