Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Cybersecurity Analyst in Kimberley to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats, protecting the organization's digital assets.

You will analyse security alerts, investigate incidents, and implement controls to prevent future breaches, while staying current with evolving threats and best practices in incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in cybersecurity.
• 2+ years in cybersecurity operations or related role.
• Proficient with SIEMs (Splunk, ELK), IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of networks, OS, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with incident response procedures and digital forensics.
• Certs such as Security+, CEH or CISSP are a plus.

Responsibilities
