Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for its Richards Bay security operations team to protect digital assets from evolving threats. You will monitor security systems, analyze breaches, and implement robust defenses in collaboration with IT and compliance teams.

The ideal candidate has a 5+ year background in cybersecurity, strong SIEM/IDS/IPS and firewall experience, and solid incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of dedicated cybersecurity experience.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, and firewall management.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, Windows and Linux OS, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and incident response skills.
