Job summary

Mimecast South Africa is seeking an Associate Customer Value Manager to drive adoption and realise value for a high-volume SMB portfolio. You will translate Mimecast capabilities into customer outcomes, build trusted relationships, and guide customers toward best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes proactive value realization, data-driven insights, and scalable enablement to protect and grow customer relationships across time zones and regions.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in CS, value management, or related roles.
• Technical aptitude and curiosity about security or SaaS tech.
• Knowledge of Mimecast platform or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to interpret usage data and health metrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication; influencing stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and common business tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive value through adoption by helping customers utilise Mimecast to achieve outcomes.
• Monitor product adoption across customers and identify gaps early.
• Lead value reviews and translate capabilities into customer-specific use cases.
• Build trusted relationships and act as the voice of the customer inside Mimecast.
• Provide enablement and education via onboarding, sessions, webinars.
• Develop a technical understanding of Mimecast and customer IT environments.
• Guide configuration best practices and escalate when needed.
• Stay current on roadmaps and threat landscape to position new capabilities.
• Protect and grow the customer base by surfacing expansion opportunities.
• Work with data, AI insights, and CRM to track engagement and value.
