Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation, a leading supplier in the Sun Chemical Group, is seeking a senior sales and customer support professional to drive regional sales in Gauteng and oversee Inplant operations. You will manage projects, provide technical support, and deliver reports to support business growth.

Role emphasizes process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with EHS and 5S initiatives across customer sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Matric, technical sales background in the ink or printing industry.
• Experience in Liquid inks, Metals, and other speciality ink technologies.
• Experience of Customer Supply, Support & Inplant Management.

Responsibilities

• Be the voice of the function, area or product line in key internal or external forums to ensure that the key challenges or requirements of the area are addressed in an appropriate fashion
• Champion for Customer Support Function at Business Meetings
• Undertake specific projects, using appropriate tools where required, in order to improve efficiency, reduce cost, introduce a concept or make other notable changes
• Develop KT Management Skills and approach to problem solving.
• Provide accurate and timely reports on key issues, key statistics and potential improvements on a regular and ad hoc basis as required.
• Produce accurate and clear reports using various applications (word, excel, etc)
• Applies their own specific and detailed knowledge or expertise to a problem or situation in order to resolve it in the best interests of the Company at the customer sites .
• Provides solutions to technical problems and strong technical support to customers across technologies

Main purpose of the job : Primary function is to achieve sales targets and to maintain and improve sales to customers in the Gauteng Region maximising sales, driving improvement projects within commercial processes and customer accounts. Overseeing the overall EHS activities and drive 5S improvement projects across the Inplant and Customer sites within the region. Champions Inplant Strategy in the roll-out of centrally led company targets, standardisation and best practice delivery.to provide Techical and sales solutions to existing and new customers in the Metal Decorating sector.

Supervise 2 metal Decorating inplants operations and staff (5 current) including stock control
