Job summary

Sun Chemical, a member of the DIC Group, is seeking a sales-focused professional to achieve targets in the Gauteng Region, drive improvements in commercial processes, and provide technical and sales solutions in the metal decorating sector.

You will supervise two metal decorating inplant operations and staff (five personnel), manage stock control, and drive 5S, continuous improvement, and cost-saving projects across sites.

Qualifications

• Matric with technical sales background in ink or printing.
• Experience with liquid inks, metals and other specialty ink technologies.
• Experience with customer supply, support and inplant management.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets in Gauteng region and grow accounts.

Main purpose of the job

Primary function is to achieve sales targets and to maintain and improve sales to customers in the Gauteng Region maximising sales, driving improvement projects within commercial processes and customer accounts. Overseeing the overall EHS activities and drive 5S improvement projects across the Inplant and Customer sites within the region. Champions Inplant Strategy in the roll-out of centrally led company targets, standardisation and best practice delivery. to provide Technical and sales solutions to existing and new customers in the Metal Decorating sector.

Supervise 2 metal Decorating inplants operations and staff (5 current) including stock control.

Description

Project Management

Reporting

Provide accurate and timely reports on key issues, key statistics and potential improvements on a regular and ad hoc basis as required.

Qualifications and experience

• Matric, technical sales background in the ink or printing industry


• Experience in Liquid inks, Metals, and other speciality ink technologies


• Experience of Customer Supply, Support & Inplant Management
