Job summary

Absolute Pets is seeking a Customer Request Coordinator for a maternity cover in the Western Cape. The role focuses on sourcing products for customer requests, ensuring timely feedback, and coordinating stock movement between stores and warehouses to fulfil customer needs.

The successful candidate will liaise with stores, warehouses and suppliers, maintain supplier relationships, and communicate professionally with customers. Strong project management and admin skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sourcing of products for customer requests.
• Ensure all requests are dealt with and that customers receive feedback.
• Oversee that all customer requests are followed through to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist with arranging movement of stock between stores and/or warehouses for customers.
• Liaise with stores, warehouses and suppliers to fulfil requests.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with customers about requests.
• Recommend alternative products to customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supplier ranging.
• Source suppliers and build/maintain relationships.
• Negotiate price and quantity with suppliers.
• Adapt to diverse customer needs across regions.
• Provide weekly reporting on customer requests to managers.
• Assist merchandise team with ad hoc duties.
