Qualifications

• Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed. or PGCE) and valid South African teaching certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years of primary school teaching experience.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse classroom and differentiate instruction.
• Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum for primary school students.
• Assess student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a positive and disciplined learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration on curriculum enhancement and school-wide initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior teachers, sharing best practices in pedagogy and classroom management.
