Tiger Brands in South Africa seeks an experienced R&D Manager for Culinary to lead product development and launch initiatives. You will manage Product & Packaging Technologists, translate briefs into specifications, and partner with Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

You will re-engineer existing products to boost profitability, monitor global trends, and drive sustainability while delivering robust projects on time and within budget.

• Collaborate with Category teams to develop products from concept to launch.
• Manage pilot/testing facilities and oversee new technologies delivery.
• Own product recipes and coordinate with Supply Chain for transitions.
• Adhere to budget guidelines and report progress to leadership.
• Research global trends and advise Marketing on opportunities.
• Advance Sustainability goals through design and process improvements.
