Job summary

Rosebank College is seeking a lecturer in Computer Science to teach a specified number of hours across CS modules. The role includes engaging students for assessments, tracking progress, and assisting the Central Academic Team with analysing results to identify at-risk modules.

Responsibilities include delivering lectures, updating the learning management system, providing feedback, and participating in academic meetings across faculties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Honours/Masters in Computer Science or related博士 (PhD) in Computer Science.
• Alternative: Honours degree or master’s in IT/CS with teaching/industry experience.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience of 2+ years in CS preferred.
• One NQF level higher than the qualification being taught.
• Copy of academic transcript.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students per module pacers.
• Update learning materials and LMS; provide feedback.
• Engage students for assessments and identify at-risk students.
• Attend academic meetings across faculties and analyse module results.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in modules assigned to lecture.
