Job summary

Rosebank College invites applications for a lecturer role in Computer Science. The successful candidate will teach and prepare students for assessments, track module progress, manage resources, and engage with the Central Academic Team to ensure quality teaching and student success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SA higher education systems and regulatory framework.
• Experience in teaching and/or industry in CS-related fields.
• Ability to support students and manage module delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students per module requirements.
• Manage modules, materials, and resources with the Information Centre.
• Update LMS and provide timely feedback to students.
• Prepare and assess student work and at-risk students.
• Monitor engagement and assess submission progress with escalation.
• Participate in academic meetings across faculties.
• Reflect on and analyse module results to identify improvements.
• Support monitoring of at-risk students in assigned modules.
• Complete academic professional development interventions each cycle.
