CSIR/ MICT SETA: Internship (One-Year Contract)

Responsibilities
- The programme allows interns to apply their academic knowledge in a real work environment under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
- Software Support & Development: Assisting in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications or internal systems.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Providing support for ICT infrastructure, including network monitoring, server maintenance, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
- Data Management: Assisting with database administration, data capturing, and ensuring data integrity.
Qualifications
- The CSIR, in partnership with MICT SETA, is offering internship opportunities to graduates seeking practical work experience to enhance their skills and employability.
- These opportunities are available in the following science, engineering, and technology (SET) fields:
- Informatics
- Software Engineering
- Business Information Systems
- A South African citizen
- Must have completed a qualification (National Diploma, Degree, or equivalent as a minimum requirement) in any of the above fields.
