Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience in credit analysis within a retail or banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a credit analyst in a retail/banking environment preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers
• Conduct credit reviews and credit approvals
• Remain objective and present both arguments and pros and cons
• Manage customer databases and lending limits
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management
• Develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with credit risk policies and procedures
• Suggest risk mitigating measures for our consumer finance products in line with the risk philosophy of the Company
• Project management i.e. track progress, manage expectations and ensure stakeholders requirements are delivered
