Job summary

Tiger Recruitment is seeking a Credit Controller for a Durban-based Freight Forwarding client. You will manage debt collection, receipting, and payment allocations while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to policy.

Responsibilities include preparing exposure reports, handling credit approvals, and applying interest on late payments. Matric is required and 3+ years in credit control with shipping/logistics exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric required.
• 3+ years in credit control.
• Shipping/logistics/forwarding experience preferred.
• Credit management experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collect debt timeously and manage receipting and bank statements.
• Capture and allocate payments, and handle credit/debit notes.
• Prepare exposure reports and document credit approvals.
• Apply interest on late payments per policy.
