Tiger Recruitment is seeking a Credit Controller for a Durban-based Freight Forwarding client. You will manage debt collection, receipting, and payment allocations while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to policy.

Responsibilities include preparing exposure reports, handling credit approvals, and applying interest on late payments. Matric is required and 3+ years in credit control with shipping/logistics exposure is preferred.

Qualificações

• Matric required.
• 3+ years in credit control.
• Shipping/logistics/forwarding experience preferred.
• Credit management experience advantageous.

My client from a Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a Credit Controller to join their team

Responsibilities

• Collect debt timeously, manage daily receipting and bank statements, capture and allocate payments, handle credit / debit note requests, and manage overdue accounts and delinquent debtors.
• Prepare exposure reports and ensure credit approvals are properly documented.
• Apply interest to late payments in line with company policy.
• Complete credit vetting investigations.

Qualifications

• Matric
• Credit Management advantageous
• ShipShape advantageous
• Minimum 3 years credit control experience
• Preferred Shipping and Logistics, Clearing and Forwarding industry experience
• A male is preferred for the role

Working Hours

Working hours - 08h00-16h30 (Mon to Fri) + x1 Saturday (as per roster every 2/3 months)
