Job summary

Remote Recruitment is looking for a remote Credit Control Specialist to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll bring cash in the door while keeping customer relationships intact. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).

Fully remote work, UK business hours, and a supportive finance team are on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven credit control or collections experience.
• Confident in payment conversations over the phone.
• Familiarity with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Chase overdue invoices by phone and email, firmly and politely.
• Manage the debtor ledger and aged debt reporting.
• Agree payment plans and elevate where needed.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve disputes.
• Support cash flow forecasting with accurate collection data.
