Job Specification : Business Analyst (Credit Applications & Lending Experience)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in credit applications and lending to join our team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document requirements for credit applications and lending processes.
• Analyze and interpret data using advanced reporting tools to provide actionable insights.
• Develop functional and technical specifications for system enhancements.
• Work with development teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation of solutions.
• Facilitate workshops to gather, validate, and prioritize requirements.
• Identify areas for process improvement within credit and lending workflows.
• Provide ongoing support for implemented solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Technical Skills :

SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) : Proficient in designing and maintaining reports.

XML Reporting : Strong understanding and experience in working with XML-based reports.

MQ and ESB : Experience with message queuing systems and enterprise service buses.

Oracle Databases / Triggers : Ability to analyze and optimize Oracle database structures and triggers.

SQL : Expertise in interpreting and building SQL scripts for data analysis and reporting.

Skills and Experience Required :

Proven experience as a Business Analyst within credit applications and lending domains.

Strong technical acumen with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT.

Solid understanding of financial regulations and credit risk management.

Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is advantageous.

Educational Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.

Role Details :

Contract Duration : Initially a contract position with the potential to convert to permanent based on performance.
