Job summary

Placements24 has partnered with a retailer in Richards Bay to hire a Creative Visual Merchandiser. You will design and implement displays across floor, windows and promotional areas to enhance store presentation and drive sales.

You will ensure brand guidelines are followed and collaborate with store management to adjust merchandising based on sales data. You should have a proven retail visual merchandising background, a strong portfolio, and a good sense of color, space, and trend

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser in a retail environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative display design and execution.
Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangement.
Ability to interpret brand strategies and translate them into effective visual presentations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in basic design software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Design and implement compelling visual merchandising displays across the store floor, windows, and promotional areas.
Ensure all displays adhere to brand guidelines and seasonal marketing strategies.
Collaborate with store management to interpret sales data and adjust merchandising accordingly.
Maintain the upkeep and integrity of all visual merchandising elements.
Train and guide store staff on visual merchandising standards and execution.
Stay updated on the latest visual merchandising trends and competitor activities in Richards Bay.
