Placements24 is seeking a highly creative Costume Designer to join its Arts & Entertainment team. This fully remote role designs costumes for theatre, film, and performance art from anywhere, defining character and supporting narrative through visual storytelling.

You will conceptualize, sketch, and oversee production of costumes, collaborating with wardrobe teams and technicians while researching historical and contemporary fashion to inspire innovative designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Costume Design, Fashion Design, Theater Arts, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a robust portfolio in Arts & Entertainment.
• Proficiency in sketching, pattern making, and knowledge of garment construction techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design costumes that align with the artistic vision of directors and production teams.
• Create detailed sketches, fabric swatches, and technical drawings for all costume pieces.

About the Role
