Job summary

CMH Commercial Pinetown is seeking an administrative cost controller to ensure all completed workshop job cards are costed and allocated in line with policies.

The role focuses on achieving 100% cost recovery, reporting out-of-line efficiencies, and maintaining accurate customer details on each cost entry. You will handle warranty and OEM claim authorizations and ensure documentation is complete and correctly filed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric and/or diploma in accounting/admin advantageous.
• Previous administrative and costing experience advantageous.
• BSI, or similar accounting package knowledge advantageous.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure profitability of workshop by correct costing and discount structures.
• Authorize warranty/service/maintenance OEM claims.
• Ensure all work claimed with correct OEM Labour codes and times.
• Process corrections for all OEM claims in the system.
• Manage warranty/service/maintenance plan analysis.
• Ensure transactions comply with CMH and OEM policies.
• Verify job cards are completed in the system with all documents attached.
• Verify technician clocking before costing of each job card.
• Record write-ups accurately and aligned with customer requests.
• Upload relevant documents to the system and e-filing as required.
• Update information in the DMS system before costing.
• Upload Evolve invoices to BSI job cards.
