Agri Technovation (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage and analyse cost structures, support pricing decisions, and drive financial efficiency. The role focuses on maintaining cost accounting systems, analysing manufacturing costs, and delivering actionable reports to guide management decisions.

The ideal candidate has a BCom Finance degree with 1–3 years of costing experience, strong Excel and IT skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• BCom Finance degree is required.
• 1–3 years’ experience in cost accounting or related costing roles.
• Candidates with relevant costing experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost accounting system and records.
• Analyse product costs and identify cost savings.
• Prepare internal cost audits and reports.
• Analyse data and log results in detail.
• Evaluate changes in goods or services for cost impact.
• Compare standard vs actual production costs in reports.
• Estimate new and proposed product costs.
• Provide management with price and profitability insights.
• Maintain product and formulation master data.
• Incorporate sales forecasts into production plans.
