The candidate should have 4–6 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing, strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Cost Management, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, methods, and systems.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and methodologies.
• Analyze manufacturing costs: materials, labor, and overhead.
• Prepare cost reports and analyze variances between standard and actual costs.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts related to production costs.
• Conduct regular cost audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to cost management.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Perform inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Provide costing information for pricing decisions and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
