Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Corporate Legal Officer to support our client's legal function with full remote flexibility. You will advise on corporate strategy, oversee governance, and manage corporate documentation across operations in South Africa.

The ideal candidate is admitted attorney or advocate with 8+ years of corporate law experience, skilled in corporate secretarial duties, M&A, and regulatory compliance, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of South African corporate law and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage corporate secretarial duties, including maintaining statutory records and coordinating board meetings.

• Review and draft corporate policies, procedures, and board resolutions.
