Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking a Corporate Governance Counsel for a fully remote, full-time role in South Africa. You will advise the board and senior management on governance best practices, ensure compliance with the Companies Act and King IV, and manage board materials and minutes.

The position requires independent work, strong governance expertise, and the ability to oversee policies, trainings, and risk management while collaborating with senior management.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of SA or equivalent qualification.
• 7+ years in corporate law with governance/compliance focus.
• Deep knowledge of King IV Code and Companies Act.
• Experience advising boards and senior management on governance.
• Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Corporate Governance Counsel

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate law, with a significant focus on corporate governance and compliance.
• Deep understanding of the King IV Code of Corporate Governance and Companies Act.
• Experience advising boards and senior management on governance matters.
