Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the banking / financial services sector, with exposure to asset finance.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, lending practices, interest rate structures, and financial instruments.
  • Proven understanding of corporate governance frameworks, compliance, and risk management.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling (including multiple interest rate scenarios and client-specific solutions).
  • Ability to prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyse, structure, and manage asset finance deals, ensuring compliance with banking policies and governance standards.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports to clients, including scenario modeling with varying interest rates and repayment terms.
  • Monitor asset performance, interest rate movements, and market conditions to provide proactive advice and solutions to clients.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles, regulatory requirements, and internal risk controls.
  • Support the development of tailored banking and finance solutions for corporate clients.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (credit, compliance, treasury, operations) to execute transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, agreements, and audit trails for all asset finance transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on financial structuring and asset management.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within client portfolios and recommend appropriate strategies.
  • Provide management with regular reporting dashboards on portfolio performance, client activity, and risk exposure
