Job summary

A leading financial institution in South Africa is looking for an energetic individual to support their Rental Finance Department. The role involves service delivery to suppliers and careful analysis of applications to meet turnaround times. Ideal candidates will possess over five years in Rental Finance and a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Marketing.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years general Rental Finance experience in a data processing, investigative or vetting capacity.
  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

Purpose Statement
  • To support the Capitec Rental Finance (CRF) Department in delivering a consistent service to Suppliers and Business Partners through the maintenance of service standards relating to documentation, application submissions, and pay-out/discounting.
  • To coordinate, process, scrutinise and analyse incoming applications in line with agreed / expected turn-around times and standards.

*The role is based in Umhlanga, KZN.

Experience

Minimum:

  • 3 - 5 years general Rental Finance experience in a data processing, investigative or vetting capacity.

Ideal:

  • 5+ years general Rental Finance experience in a data processing, investigative or vetting capacity
  • Accounting experience will be beneficial.
Qualifications (Minimum)
  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Marketing
Knowledge

Minimum:

  • Sound understanding of rental finance and related products
  • Understanding of the Office Automation Technology environments
  • Basic understanding of Financial statements
  • Understanding of legal requirements of business entities (business knowledge)

Ideal:

  • Knowledge on financial statements
  • Banking knowledge to understand banking analysis, code of conduct
