Job summary

Pick n Pay is seeking dedicated team players to ensure meals are prepared according to recipe and quantity specifications, while maintaining hygiene, housekeeping and safe working standards across our stores.

As part of the team you will conduct regular quality checks, rotate stock, remove damaged or expired items, prevent wastage, complete all administrative documentation, monitor expenses and turnover, and coordinate daily production planning with colleagues and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 is essential.
• Computer literacy advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that security procedures are adhered to.
• Conduct regular quality checks and rotate stock.
• Damaged/expired stock is removed.
• Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages.
• Complete all relevant administration/documentation.
• Monitor budget (expenses, turnover) and take required action.
• Plan daily/weekly production of products.
• Communicate effectively with employees and management.
• Ensure that all equipment is maintained in effective working order and operated in accordance with laid down standards.
