Job summary

Tsebo Solutions Group is seeking a passionate Cook to join its Business & Industry catering team in a corporate dining environment. You will prepare and serve high-quality meals, uphold strict hygiene standards, and contribute to exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of cook experience in contract catering or hospitality, a Grade 12 or equivalent, and a relevant culinary qualification is a plus. This role supports a dynamic kitchen operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and menu requirements.
• Ensure meals are presented attractively and served at correct temperatures.
• Assist with menu planning and daily food production.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and ordering.
• Minimize food waste and adhere to portion control guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
• Assist with catering functions and special events as required.
• Support the kitchen team to ensure efficient service delivery.
