Ability Executive Recruitment is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for the Hospitality and Tourism portfolio in Claremont, South Africa. The role oversees operational leadership, guest experience, and project delivery for new openings and refurbishments, while safeguarding commercial performance and group reputation.

You will lead General Managers, ensure coverage across properties, manage capital projects, and maintain governance and compliance with SA/Botswana regulations.

Formación

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' senior operational experience in hospitality, lodge or hotel management.
• Experience managing capital projects, refurbishments or new openings.
• Working knowledge of SA and/or Botswana labour and hospitality regulatory frameworks.
• Proven stakeholder management and crisis/reputation management experience.
• Operational and commercial acumen across multi-site hospitality operations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day operational oversight of hospitality properties across NAM and PAM with consistent service quality.
• Lead and support General Managers and on-site leadership teams including performance management and succession planning.
• Ensure adequate on-site and remote coverage across all properties with documented handover protocols.
