Placements24 seeks a diligent Paralegal with Conveyancing expertise to join our busy Port Elizabeth practice. You will manage property transfers, ensuring all legal documents are accurate and compliant while working with attorneys and clients for smooth transactions.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Paralegal Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in conveyancing.
• Proficiency in relevant legal software and MS Office Suite.
• Thorough understanding of the conveyancing process and related legislation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review all necessary documentation for property transfers, including deeds of sale, bonds, and cancellations.
• Manage the entire conveyancing process from instruction to registration, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, and government departments (e.g., Deeds Office).
• Conduct searches and verify property ownership and encumbrances.
• Ensure compliance with relevant property laws, regulations, and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized client files and transaction records.
