Job summary

VEA Road Maintenance & Civils seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to lead emergency repairs of flood-damaged structures on national roads R578, R524, R40 and R36 in Limpopo. The senior, hands-on role demands expertise in routine road maintenance, construction project management and contract management.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, within specification, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Registered with SACPCMP as PrCM or with ECSA as PrEng, PrTechEng or PrTechni.
• A minimum of 8 years' experience in road construction and maintenance projects.
• Experience with SANRAL projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership and financial management capabilities.

Job description

VEA Road Maintenance & Civils is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team for the Emergency Repair of flood damaged structures on National Roads R578, R524, R40 and R36 in the Limpopo Province.

This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced roads professional with a strong background in routine road maintenance, construction project management and contract management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing road construction and maintenance projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring that contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, within specification, on time and within budget.

The role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership ability, commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.

Minimum Requirements
