Job summary

Indsafri is seeking an experienced AI Automation Engineer to join a next-generation team focused on AI-powered automation solutions. This six-month contract role emphasizes translating complex business processes into scalable, secure, auditable workflows.

You will design, build, and deploy production-grade AI and automation systems, orchestrate LLMs and multi-agent workflows, and collaborate with business, tech, and compliance teams to deliver practical AI applications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing production-grade AI/agentic automation.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent systems.
• Experience with Java/Spring AI and/or Python.
• Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation platforms.
• Experience working with AI APIs such as Anthropic/Claude or similar.
• Knowledge of MCP or similar AI/multi-agent coordination technologies.
• Strong experience with APIs, system integration, data pipelines, and enterprise systems.
• Understanding of AI governance, security, risk, audit, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI and automation solutions.
• Develop AI-powered and agentic workflows to automate business processes.
• Build LLM orchestration and multi-agent workflows.
• Integrate internal and external systems using APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise platforms.
• Work with Claude/Anthropic APIs, Java/Spring AI, Python, n8n, MCP, or similar technologies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency through AI automation.
• Ensure solutions are secure, auditable, compliant, and production-ready.
• Implement appropriate human oversight and approval controls where required.
• Follow AI governance, risk, access control, security, and audit requirements.
• Develop reusable AI automation frameworks, workflows, templates, and technical standards.
• Monitor and optimise AI automation solutions to improve performance and business outcomes.
• Work closely with business, technology, infrastructure, compliance, and AI teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and practical AI automation solutions.
