Job summary

Discovery Limited is seeking a Content Lead to own the content strategy and delivery for the Discovery Bank portfolio. This role combines senior writing, editorial judgement, strategic planning and operational oversight to deliver high-quality content across platforms and audiences.

You will translate business objectives into content approaches, mentor junior talent, and collaborate with PR, editorial and marketing teams to achieve measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editorial skills across brand, PR, thought leadership and media content.
• Ability to translate complex ideas into clear content strategies and execution.
• Experience developing content strategies for business units, stakeholders or brands.
• Experience working across digital platforms and managing content for multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Write and develop high-quality content across formats for PR, media and leadership audiences.
• Develop content strategies for Discovery Bank based on objectives and audience needs.
• Translate briefs into clear content approaches, frameworks and execution plans.
• Identify thought leadership opportunities and pitch content initiatives to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PR and communications to amplify media relations and reputation goals.
• Plan and manage daily content operations, schedules and priorities.
• Project-manage large content initiatives with multiple stakeholders and external contributors.
• Lead and guide freelance writers and external partners to ensure tone and quality.
• Brief designers, agencies and PR specialists to support campaigns and leadership content.
• Maintain consistent tone, voice and quality across outputs.
• Support executive content initiatives, including speeches and senior narratives.
