Job summary

Standard Bank Group is seeking an Insurance Consultant to provide a high level of service across Insurance Products to customers and SBIB Provincial Offices, SBSA Branches, underwriters and brokers. You will resolve policy queries and act as a subject matter expert on at least one Insurance Product under supervision.

The role requires a Diploma in Finance and Accounting and 2–3 years of insurance industry experience, including at least 2 years in a call centre environment.

• 2–3 years insurance industry experience
• Minimum 2 years call centre/telephone experience
• Insurance product knowledge of at least 1 product

To provide a high level of service across the different Insurance Products types through various communication channels to Standard Bank Customers, SBIB Provincial Offices, SBSA Branches, Underwriters and Brokers by resolving insurance policy queries across the various Insurance Products as per the multi-skilling Journey. Act as a subject matter expert on at least 1 Insurance Product as a skill and the other Insurance Products under supervision.
