The Consultant is responsible for providing support and consulting services to trustees and management committees of retirement funds. The role involves assisting with the daily management and administration of funds, coordinating activities between departments, and ensuring clients receive efficient and professional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management and administration of retirement funds.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between stakeholders and internal departments.
- Assist trustees and management committees with fund-related matters.
- Ensure adherence to client service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date fund databases.
- Support regulatory compliance and implementation of best practices.
- Assist with the rollout and implementation of strategic business initiatives.
- Contribute to client retention, satisfaction, and business growth objectives.
- Identify opportunities to increase assets under management (AUM).
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7).
- Grade 12/ Senior Certificate
Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of advanced administrative, operational, or customer service practices.
- Understanding of retirement fund administration and client servicing environments.
- Ability to interpret legislation and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
- Approximately six months of training and familiarisation may be required to achieve full competency.
