Qualifications

• Valid South African driver’s license for site access.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a robust and experienced Construction Site Equipment Mechanic to join their operational team in Nelspruit . This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal functioning and reliability of heavy machinery and vehicles operating on construction sites. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring project timelines are met. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled mechanic with extensive experience in heavy equipment repair and a commitment to safety and efficiency in the Mpumalanga region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair of heavy construction equipment (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, cranes, trucks).


• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems failures.


• Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks according to manufacturer specifications and schedules.


• Repair or replace worn or defective parts, ensuring the integrity and performance of the equipment.
