Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Construction Safety Officer to ensure the highest standards of health and safety on Port Elizabeth construction sites in the Eastern Cape. You will conduct inspections, deliver safety training, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrences.

The role requires a proactive professional with strong observational skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of SA OH&S legislation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety plans for Port Elizabeth construction sites.

About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated and vigilant Construction Safety Officer to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained on their construction sites in Port Elizabeth . This role is crucial for preventing accidents, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety legislation and company policies. You will conduct regular inspections, provide safety training, and investigate any incidents that occur. Key Responsibilities
