Job summary

Placements24's client, a respected construction firm, is seeking a Construction Project Planner to join their Mahikeng team. You will develop comprehensive project schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with project managers, engineers and site teams to keep milestones on track.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement to plan from the office and coordinate with site activities, with focus on accurate timelines, risk mitigation, and look‑ahead scheduling for diverse projects in the North

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Planner or Scheduler in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex project schedules.
• Experience with resource loading and cost loading schedules is a plus.
