Placements24 is assisting a client in Midrand to recruit an experienced Construction Project Manager. This role oversees the planning, execution and handover of diverse construction projects, balancing on-site supervision with remote coordination in a hybrid setup.

You will manage timelines, budgets and resources, lead safety and quality programs, and liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in budget management, cost control, and resource optimization.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with diverse teams.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Procure and manage all necessary construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, negotiating favourable terms.

Requirements

• Proven track record of at least 5 years as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of South African building standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost control, and resource optimization for complex projects.
