Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of building projects in and around George. The role combines on-site leadership with remote coordination, ensuring projects finish on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication, while coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, architects, and clients in the Western Cape region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in construction project management with proven delivery.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Manage and coordinate all site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment, with safety as a priority.
• Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants, ensuring contract adherence and performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain high workmanship standards.
• Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders including clients, design teams, and site personnel.
• Manage risk, resolve conflicts, and implement change orders as necessary.
