Job summary

The South African Breweries is seeking a contract administration support role to assist with the administration of construction and engineering contracts within project teams. You will help monitor obligations, prepare correspondence, track variations, support EOT submissions, and contribute to commercial reporting while gaining practical experience in contract and project management.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, Law, or related discipline.
• 0 to 3 years' experience in a contract administration, commercial, project controls, quantity surveying, or related role.
• Exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure, mining, energy, or capital projects environments will be advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, and change management principles.
• Exposure to standard forms of contract such as FIDIC, JBCC, or GCC would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of construction and engineering contracts throughout project execution.
• Support the monitoring of contractual obligations, notice requirements, and contract compliance.
• Prepare and maintain contract correspondence, records, and filing systems.
• Assist with the tracking and administration of variations and change orders.
• Support the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and contractual notifications.
• Assist with the compilation and administration of contractor claims and supporting documentation.
• Maintain variation, claims, and risk registers.
• Support project teams with contract management activities and document control requirements.
• Assist with commercial reporting and contract-related data analysis.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and document management for contractual matters.
