Job summary

D&S Engineering (Durbanville) seeks a Technician Configuration to ensure plant configuration, traceability and change control throughout the life cycle of a configuration item within the Design and Specification Engineering unit. Based in Durbanville, Western Cape, this role supports project and maintenance teams with CM processes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, teamwork, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of configuration management processes, procedures, policies, guidelines and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Implement configuration management standards, processes and procedures.
• Perform configuration management planning, identification, change control and status accounting.
• Participate in Configuration Management audits and verification.
• Provide configuration management support and assistance to project and maintenance teams.
